PARTICIPANT IN TEST

The folks at 707 kindly allowed me to participate in a test of the Metastable product. I gave it to my pre-metabolic horse for 35 days, per suggested dose. In the 35 days the horse did lose some weight, particularly in the "fat pocket" areas around the shoulders and in the tail pad area. However, I did not have another metabolic test done at the end of the 35 days. I did notice that he had an increase in appetite. He seemed to be very hungry, in general. He would snack on grasses while being ridden (not a typical behavior for him) and was more aggressive with his pasture mates at feeding time. I didn't feed him additional food, and he did lose weight. I will see what happens when the supplement is discontinued. Many thanks for the product developers at 707 for providing the
product for the test.

It became evident about a year ago that my pony was suffering from the beginnings of metabolic disease. Frequent bouts of laminitis and lumpy fat deposits began to develop around the rump, belly, and shoulders. After 40 days on this product, my pony has never felt better, has started to gain more appropriate muscle, and is beginning to visibly lose the frumpy lumpy fat deposits. It was very palatable and mixed into grain very easily. From now on, this will always be on the shelf of my supplement cabinet!

Is MetaStable palatable? What should I do if my horse doesn’t like it?
