Team 707 Success Stories / Testimonials

Laura Lambert is all about results.

Laura LambertShe has to be. With a stake in Colorado Springs–based Lambert Performance Horses, she rides to win. And she's certain that Formula 707 plays a vital role in making that happen, every time she goes through the gate.

As a competitive barrel racer, Laura knows a thing or two about horses. Asked how long she's been riding, she laughs and says, "Since before I can remember, maybe around age 3." In those early days, she recalls using a bucket to mount. Her husband, Ricky, also began riding and roping calves as a youngster and has been in the saddle ever since, about three decades now.

"We've tried a lot of different supplements," reflects Laura. "I never saw any difference in how our horses looked and felt. And I want to know I'm getting the response I need."

Favorable outcomes with Formula 707

Laura LambertWith John Ewing products, Laura gets measurable results. And she can prove it. She once created a test situation, where two horses were given Brand X, and two were given Formula 707. One horse, in particular, had been having a difficult time gaining weight. But that was before Glo-N-Go (fat supplement), which expanded his cinch two holes.

But there's always time to tell one more success story, and Laura has a good one that helped solidify her loyalty.

The Lamberts also use Daily Essentials and Joint Essentials™ 5-in-1. About the joint product she says, "I'm thrilled with it." And it's easy to understand why, as it's allowed her to "more than double the time between (e.g., hock) injections, on more than one horse — and they're still not getting sore." As before, the Lamberts had tried other supplements and saw no difference to justify continuing usage. Score another believer in Formula 707.

The best equine supplements on the market

Laura asserts, "It's apparent with the great results we continue to get, that they're taking the best supplements made. They look and feel better. They're perky, they move well and they're happy."

And how does Formula 707 stack up against competitors, with regard to affordability? Lambert doesn't miss a beat in her endorsement: "Their supplements are very cost-effective; you get more for your money by using John Ewing products."

Prevent a problem now, or you'll pay for it later.

Marie HinesShe says that in her 61 years, she's learned many of life's lessons from the school of hard knocks. From that valuable experience, Marie Hines believes in spending a little money up front, rather than breaking the bank down the road

"You'll save a lot if you practice preventive care," she asserts. "I won't own a horse that's not on Formula 707."

Take Twister, for example. He was a six-year-old gelding when she first noticed him stumbling as they rode the mountains of Buena Vista, Colo. A trip to the vet confirmed her fears. He was sore and wasn't going to make it as a barrel horse, unless she'd consider hock injections.

Marie did some research and some soul searching, too. "I thought there must be a better way," she recalls. Fortunately for Twister, there was.

"He had heart like you wouldn't believe."

Marie happily recalls the day not so long ago that Twister won a saddle for her, as she claimed the Colorado NBHA District Five Senior 4D Championship.

But the story almost didn't have a happy ending. Rewind to some time earlier, when Twister, in pain, shouldered into a barrel, which then spun around and sliced Marie's leg so badly she required 140 stitches

He wanted to run, but it appeared that his hock issues would cut his career short.

Joint Essentials™ to the rescue.

Even now, Marie speaks fondly of her friend, Melanie, a fellow barrel racer, who also happened to work for the John Ewing Company. When Marie gave her a call asking for advice, she suggested putting the ailing horse on Joint Essentials. What happened next was nothing short of amazing.

"Within two weeks, I saw a complete turnaround; for more than a year after, Twister didn't take another lame step and began running barrels again," she reports, the joy still evident in her voice.

Marie recently sold Twister. He's now back in the arena from which he originally came, doing what, she says, is really his first love: working cattle—and still performing well, thanks to Joint Essentials.

Formula 707—for every stage of a horse's life

Which brings us to yet another chapter in the story. Her name is Breezy, and she's the "18-year-old registered quarter horse who thinks she's five" that Marie purchased just a couple of months ago. And yes, the lucky lady is already on Joint Essentials, just in case. Because she practices what she preaches ("I try to tell everyone about Joint Essentials"), Marie confirmed that after the horse visits the vet to get checked out, she'll be making another call to Melanie to see what Formula 707 product(s) she recommends for her new barrel racing buddy.

"I've never believed in a product like I believe in this one. Whether you're running a 1D or a 4D horse, they all deserve the best—and that's Formula 707."

Spoken like someone who knows what she’s talking about.
